How SECURI-WALL Works
Constructing and installing precast concrete security walls involves a meticulous process to ensure durability and effectiveness. It begins with detailed planning and design, focusing on the specific project requirements such as the height, length and design of the security wall and columns. Once the design is approved, our production facilities in Gauteng and the Western Cape manufacture the precast concrete panels and columns off-site. These prestressed panels are made with high-strength 50 MPa concrete and reinforced steel to ensure maximum durability. Discover more about the Echo Group.
After manufacturing, the prestressed panels are transported to the construction site, where they are precisely lifted and positioned using cranes or specialised lifting equipment. The panels are securely fixed into the column recesses, with the columns featuring an integrated foundation for quick and easy installation. The final result is a robust security wall that provides both physical protection and a strong visual deterrent.
